Foodonet is a social initiative aiming to reduce the food waste. Foodonet develops a mobile platform that allows people to easily donate spare food to one another. Foodonet started in Israel in 2014, and currently has iOS and Android applications with hundreds of users. Foodonet team consists of 13 volunteers that design, develop, and market its mobile applications.
